Peller Says He Would Love to Host Wole Soyinka on His Livestream

TikToker Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has announced plans to host Nobel laureate Prof. Wole Soyinka on his livestream.

Peller made the announcement during a livestream, saying details of the proposed session would be shared later.

“I want to do a stream with Prof. Wole Soyinka. I will announce it soon and tell you guys the plan. It will be a proper English day. You will hear some ‘grammar’ that day,” he said.
The announcement has sparked online buzz, given the contrast between Peller’s informal, comedic streaming style and Soyinka’s status as one of Africa’s most revered literary figures.

Peller has built a large following with his spontaneous, humour-driven livestreams, often featuring celebrities and fellow content creators.
Soyinka, a playwright, poet and novelist, made history in 1986 as the first African to win the Nobel Prize in Literature.

While Peller promised to share more details soon, he did not disclose a date for the session, and it remains unclear whether the literary icon has accepted the invitation.
