Pastor Tobi Adegboyega Challenges Critics: “Go to Police, Court or Shut Up”

Nigerian-UK clergyman Pastor Tobi Adegboyega has addressed renewed criticism and allegations involving him and members of SPAC Nation on social media.

Adegboyega spoke in a video shared online, explaining that he normally chooses not to respond to people who criticise him because he does not regard many of the issues raised as serious enough to warrant his attention.

However, he said he decided to address the latest discussions after some of his friends became concerned about what they were seeing online.

The pastor challenged individuals who accuse members of SPAC Nation of wrongdoing to take their claims to the appropriate authorities instead of repeatedly discussing them on social media.

Adegboyega said anyone who believes an offence has been committed should report the matter to the police or take legal action through the courts.

He also questioned the decision by some individuals to circulate documents and allegations online while, according to him, failing to formally report the claims.

The clergyman said he would welcome an investigation into any genuine wrongdoing and expressed support for anyone found to have committed an offence being dealt with according to the law.

His comments came amid renewed online discussions concerning SPAC Nation and allegations involving some of its members.

The pastor also criticised what he described as attempts to use his name and the SPAC Nation brand to attract attention and generate social media engagement.

Following the video, social media users shared different reactions. Some commenters defended Adegboyega and questioned the claims against him, while others continued discussing the controversy.

The renewed debate has once again placed Adegboyega and SPAC Nation at the centre of online conversations.
