Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has reconciled with celebrity fashion designer Toyin Lawani after years of estrangement between the two personalities.

Iyabo announced the development on Instagram on Thursday, sharing photographs of herself with Toyin and reflecting on the value of genuine friendship.

The actress described their reconciliation as a reminder that real friendships can survive disagreements and periods of separation.

Tagging Toyin Lawani, she wrote: “Life taught us that real friendships aren’t perfect, they are real. We had our moment apart, but real friendship always finds its way back.”

The reconciliation marks a significant development in the relationship between the two women, who were once close friends and were also associated with the reality television show The Real Housewives of Lagos.

Their friendship reportedly became strained around 2022 following a public disagreement.

The dispute was linked partly to Toyin’s relationship with Laura Ikeji, who had previously been involved in disagreements with Iyabo.
