Sikiratu Sindodo Reveals How Severe Illness Left Her in Coma With 50/50 Survival Chance

Nollywood actress Tayo Odueke, who is widely known as Sikiratu Sindodo, has revealed the serious illness that nearly claimed her life and landed her in a coma after months of health issues.

The Yoruba actress, it was said, opened up about the experience during an interview with Oyinmomo TV, saying the sickness started with symptoms that resembled malaria and typhoid.

What looked like a common illness soon became much more serious as her health continued to deteriorate.

“Doctors tried to figure out what was going on with me and tried to treat me from hospital to hospital,” the actress said.

The illness lasted for months and finally got so bad that she lost consciousness and went into a coma.

At that time, her family was allegedly told that her chances of survival were uncertain.

At one point, doctors told her mother to go home because they didn’t know if the actress would survive.

“I was sick like a person with malaria,” she said. That was it, malaria/typhoid, and that was how it began slowly. From hospital to hospital. I don’t know how long it lasted. I think it was months because I was in a coma and given a 50/50 chance. “They even sent my mom home. God answered many prayers in my life. Because I don’t want to be emotional. God has been faithful.
