‘I’m Being Bullied’ – Yetunde Barnabas Speaks on Alleged Campaign Against Her Career
Actress and filmmaker Yetunde Barnabas has called out alleged bullying and deliberate attempts to tarnish her name and discredit her work.
On Instagram, the actress said she has been quiet long enough and can no longer sit back and watch people bully her.
She wrote, “Enough is enough! I have stayed quiet for long enough, but I can no longer sit back and watch you people bully me, deliberately tarnish my name, attack my career and constantly discredit the work I have sacrificed so much to build. I have worked extremely hard to get to where I am today. I have faced challenges, made sacrifices, and built my career from the ground up. I will not allow anyone to destroy what I have worked years to build.”
Barnabas specifically called out a user identified as ajefunke_kofoshi, asking her to take down a post about her.

“@ajefunke_kofoshi I am publicly asking you to take down the hateful post you made about me. I have committed no crime by being a filmmaker, by building my career, or by investing in my own projects. I produced OJISE with a N30 million budget, and I am proud of the work that went into it. I will not sit quietly while anyone deliberately tries to rubbish my name or discredit my work,” she said.
She further alleged that there is a group created to constantly attack her.
“What concerns me even more is discovering that there is allegedly a hate group created specifically to constantly attack me and tarnish every project I put out. I don’t know who is behind it, but I have been told that there are people saying they want me out of this industry. Maybe because I am part of the first set that monetised YouTube, but this is too much. I am stepping in with the authorities from this point henceforth,” she added.
The filmmaker maintained her innocence and vowed to protect her career going forward.
“I am not a thief, I am not a criminal, I am a filmmaker, a producer, a businesswoman, and a woman who has worked incredibly hard for everything she has today. I will not apologise for my success. From this point forward, I will protect my name, my career, my work, and everything I have built. Enough is enough.”
