Diddy Reportedly Hospitalised After Suffering Head Injury In US Prison
American rapper and music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been taken to a hospital after suffering a head injury while serving his prison sentence in New Jersey, United States.
According to TMZ, the 56-year-old entertainer was taken for medical treatment on Saturday, October 10, after sustaining an injury described as non-life-threatening.
The report indicated that Diddy was conscious and speaking before being taken for treatment. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident have not been publicly disclosed.
A representative for Combs told the Los Angeles Times that the team was working to establish what happened, adding that his health and well-being remained the immediate priority.
“We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances,” the representative said, expressing appreciation to those who had reached out with concerns.

A spokesperson for the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix, where Combs is serving his sentence, reportedly declined to comment on the reported hospital visit.
The development comes amid increased media attention on the rapper’s prison conditions. A report published by the Los Angeles Times on October 2 cited NBC News accounts involving four anonymous inmates who alleged that Combs paid fellow prisoners to cook and clean for him.
The reports also alleged that he had access to a contraband mobile phone and an illegal supply of alcohol. His representative pushed back against the scrutiny, arguing that ordinary aspects of prison life were being presented as major news.
Meanwhile, Combs’ projected release date reportedly changed from January 21, 2028, to March 2, 2028, according to information in the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ inmate database cited by the newspaper.
The rapper is serving a 50-month federal prison sentence after a jury convicted him in July 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges.
His conviction and sentence are currently under appeal, with the legal process remaining unresolved in the latest reports.
Further details about the reported injury and his medical condition have not been confirmed publicly.
