‘You’re an Ingrate, I Won’t Let This Slide’ – Laide Bakare Fires at Eniola Badmus

Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has criticised her colleague, Eniola Badmus, following a viral podcast moment in which the latter appeared to react negatively after her name was mentioned.

A video from the conversation has circulated online, drawing attention to Eniola Badmus’s facial expression and hiss immediately after Bakare’s name was mentioned.

Reacting to the clip, Bakare took to Instagram to express her displeasure, accusing Badmus of repeatedly attempting to damage her public image.

The actress described her colleague as a nuisance and an ingrate, alleging that the situation was part of a pattern of public disrespect. She warned that she would no longer remain silent over what she perceived as deliberate attempts to undermine her reputation.

In her post, Bakare questioned why Badmus allegedly continued to portray her negatively in public despite previous warnings to stop.

“Honestly you are indeed an ingrate and I won’t let this slide,” Bakare wrote, expressing frustration over the incident.

The actress further stated that she would not allow another person’s insecurity to distract her from her personal journey and achievements.

“I know my journey, I know my worth, and I know how much it has taken Me to get here,” she added.

The latest exchange has renewed attention on the reportedly strained relationship between the two Nollywood stars. They have previously exchanged criticisms on social media, with reports suggesting that their disagreement once escalated into a face-to-face confrontation on a movie set.
