Nigerian streamer and content creator Carter Efe has publicly criticised social media personality GehGeh following reports of his recent marriage, claiming the relationship coach’s advice led to the end of his 12-year relationship.

GehGeh reportedly married his partner in a private ceremony on Saturday, with videos from the event quickly circulating across social media.

Reacting to the wedding, Carter Efe expressed disappointment, accusing GehGeh of contradicting the relationship advice he had long preached to his followers.

In an emotional video, the content creator alleged that he ended his longtime relationship after following GehGeh’s teachings, only for the influencer to secretly get married.

“GehGeh gets the mind to marry after everything he has been saying. GehGeh made me leave my relationship—a relationship of 12 years. School of GehGeh na fool. He betrayed all of us. Jesus Christ,” Carter Efe said.

The outburst has sparked widespread reactions online, with many social media users debating GehGeh’s previous stance on marriage and Carter Efe’s decision to follow his advice.

GehGeh has become well known on social media for his controversial views on relationships, repeatedly describing marriage as “a scam” while sharing his opinions through his online platform, popularly known as the GehGeh School of Marriage.
