In a deeply emotional post on her Instagram page on Monday, the actress explained that her beloved mother passed away on the eve of her birthday party, which took place on Thursday, February 5, 2026 — a fact she only learned afterward.

She wrote:

“Unbeknownst to me, my beloved mother died on the eve of my party and the news was cruelly kept away from me.”

Faithia described her late mother as her biggest supporter and confidante, calling her:

“my cheerleader, prayer warrior, best friend, and gist partner.”

She admitted that the reality of the loss “has not yet fully sunk in,” and expressed deep pain over the timing and secrecy surrounding the news.

Leaning on her faith, Faithia noted that the family has chosen to keep the matter private for now and asked for prayers and understanding from the public during this difficult period.

She added:

“Your love and prayers will mean a lot to me and my siblings at this time. Burial details will be announced later.”
